Program Description:

The Home Health Aide program is designed to help students acquire the necessary skills to effectively provide bodily care and emotional comfort to their patients. This program will also allow graduates to work for Home Health Aide Agencies/patients that will pay them out of Medicare and/ or Medicaid because it meets the 75 hour training requirement.

Program Objectives:

The purpose of the Home Health Aide program is to help students acquire the necessary skills such as: communication, nutrition principles, household management and record keeping, special care and rehabilitation to efficiently provide bodily care and emotional comfort to their patients and assist them toward independent living in a safe environment.

Progress Requirements for Graduation
Currently, we only offer diploma programs. Students are required to earn at least a C for every attempted course to pass them. In addition, they have to maintain an average cumulative GPA of at least C throughout their course of study to successfully complete their program.
