Program Description:
The Medical Assisting Program is designed to help the students develop the necessary theoretical and clinical skills such as: administrative and clinical medical assisting, pharmacology, laboratory procedures, medical insurance, billing and coding, electrocardiography and CPR, anatomy and physiology and medical terminology to enable them to work in different settings such as: medical offices, ambulatory care providers, clinics, urgent care facilities, nursing homes, and pharmaceutical companies.

Program Objectives:
The purpose of this program is to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in the medical assisting field.

Progress Requirements for Graduation

Currently, we only offer diploma programs. Students are required to earn at least a C for every attempted course to pass them. In addition, they have to maintain an average cumulative GPA of at least C throughout their course of study to successfully complete their program.
