Program Description:
The Mental Health Technician Program is designed to equip students with the necessary theoretical and clinical skills such as: Vital signs, CPR, infection control and standard precautions, activities of daily living, physical assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy skills to sit for the nursing assistant and the behavioral health technician certification exams.
Program Objectives:
The purpose of this program is to prepare graduates for entry level position in the mental health field.
Progress Requirements for Graduation
Currently, we only offer diploma programs. Students are required to earn at least a C for every attempted course to pass them. In addition, they have to maintain an average cumulative GPA of at least C throughout their course of study to successfully complete their program.
